Hollyoaks actor Richard Blackwood has revealed a new project outside of the soap – a stand-up comedy tour. The actor, known for his role as Felix Westwood, announced the tour on Instagram, expressing excitement for his first stand-up tour in 23 years. The tour is set to begin in Manchester on February 4 and will take place on various weekends across the UK throughout February and March. Despite the new venture, it remains unclear whether Blackwood’s involvement in the comedy tour signals his departure from Hollyoaks. The soap’s bosses have not provided details on Felix’s fate after a life-or-death situation involving Warren Fox unfolds in upcoming episodes. Viewers will have to tune in to find out the character’s fate. Blackwood, who shares a strong real-life friendship with co-star Jamie Lomas (Warren), previously mentioned the challenge of portraying intense scenes with someone he gets along with so well. Hollyoaks airs on Channel 4 and E4.
