Amid the ongoing actors’ strike that has halted the production of several films and TV series, including NCIS, co-stars Sean Murray and Brian Dietzen from the popular procedural drama have united to support their fellow colleagues.
Members of SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) and the Writers Guild of America have participated in picket lines, advocating for better pay. Despite the hiatus in filming, Murray and Dietzen, alongside other NCIS team members like writer and executive producer Scott Williams and producer David J. North, have joined in solidarity, as seen in Murray’s Instagram post showcasing them holding signs in support of #sagaftrastrong and #wgastrong.
Dietzen, who was recently on vacation in Greece with his wife, pledged to join the picket lines upon his return home, stating his commitment to support the cause after an “epic journey” abroad.
Their demonstration of solidarity aligns with other actors in the industry, such as the Chicago Med trio Steven Weber, Kristen Hager, and S. Epatha Merkerson, who have also shared their support on social media platforms, condemning the management’s stance and highlighting the importance of the strike for fair treatment and compensation in the entertainment industry.
