NCIS Season 21 is set to premiere on February 12 after being delayed by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes last year. The upcoming season will pick up where Season 20 left off, with Torres having gone undercover to thwart a Russian terrorist plot. While behind bars, he encounters a man from his past, sparking a personal mission for revenge in the Season 21 premiere titled “Algún Día.”
In this episode, Torres risks his future and career by confronting the man who tormented his family during his childhood. Co-showrunner David J. North revealed that Torres is on the verge of making a life-altering mistake in his quest for revenge, putting his career and even his life at stake.
The cast for NCIS Season 21 includes Wilmer Valderrama as Torres, Gary Cole as Alden Parker, Sean Murray as Timothy McGee, Katrina Law as Jessica Knight, Rocky Carroll as Leon Vance, Brian Dietzen as Dr. Jimmy Palmer, and Diona Reasonover as Kasie Hines.
Additionally, the NCIS franchise will expand with the spinoff series NCIS: ORIGINS. Narrated by Mark Harmon, the show delves into the backstory of Leroy Jethro Gibbs, exploring his early career as a special agent at the NCIS Camp Pendleton office in 1991. The series will also delve into the stories of Mike Franks and Special Agent Vera Strickland. Harmon is confirmed to return as the narrator but not as Gibbs in the spinoff.
