Vanessa Lachey, star of NCIS: Hawaii, has been appointed as a USO Global Ambassador, joining her NCIS co-star Wilmer Valderrama in the role. With a background deeply tied to the military as a military kid born in the Philippines and raised within the military lifestyle, Lachey aims to contribute to the USO’s mission in enhancing the well-being of service members and their families through core programs.
Expressing her gratitude, Lachey stated, “My journey as a military kid has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the sacrifices of all military families, and I am honored to serve as a USO Global Ambassador.” She emphasized her eagerness to use her personal experiences to highlight the vital work of the USO and inspire fellow Americans to express gratitude and support for the brave service members and their families.
