Sandra Bullock’s partner, Bryan Randall, tragically passed away in August 2023 at the age of 57 after battling ALS, which was remembered in a touching tribute by Sandra’s sister, Gesine Bullock-Prado.
Gesine shared a serene video on Instagram of the Snake River in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where Sandra scattered Bryan’s ashes. In the accompanying caption, she wrote, “Happy birthday, Bry. Sandy brought you to the river, just as she promised.”
Following Bryan’s passing, the family released a statement to People expressing their sorrow and gratitude. “It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS,” the statement read. They expressed immense gratitude to the doctors and nurses who supported Bryan throughout his illness.
Gesine commended Sandra for her devoted care during Bryan’s battle with ALS. She mentioned, “ALS is a cruel disease, but there is some comfort in knowing he had the best of caretakers in my amazing sister and the band of nurses she assembled who helped her look after him in their home.”
The family asked for privacy to grieve and cope with the loss, acknowledging the challenge of bidding farewell to Bryan.
Sandra and Bryan began their relationship in 2015 and were last seen together publicly in July 2020. Sandra previously shared insights into their relationship during an interview on Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Red Table Talk, highlighting the love they shared and their blended family.
Although they never officially married, reports suggested the couple held a commitment ceremony in December 2017. A video from the event captured Sandra and Bryan joyfully dancing, coinciding with Bryan’s birthday on December 31.
