In the opening NCIS episode titled “Too Many Cooks,” agents from Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and Hawai’i converge in D.C. to attend a retirement party, only to find themselves jointly investigating a shocking suicide by a beloved FLETC instructor. The episode features guest appearances by NCIS: Los Angeles’ Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J, as well as NCIS: Hawai’i’s Vanessa Lachey and Noah Mills.
The crossover continues with the NCIS: Hawai’i episode “Deep Fake,” where Tennant, Jimmy Palmer (NCIS’ Brian Dietzen), and Sam Hanna (NCIS: Los Angeles’ LL Cool J) find themselves captured with a CIA agent seeking intel from the team. Simultaneously, Jesse, Ernie, Whistler, and Alden Parker (NCIS’ Gary Cole) learn about an asset in Hawai’i connected to multiple overseas assassinations. NCIS: Los Angeles’ Chris O’Donnell also makes a guest appearance in this episode.
The night concludes with the NCIS: LA episode “A Long Time Coming.” As Agent Rountree and Fatima search for an MIA Kilbride, they are ambushed, discovering that each team member has a $200,000 bounty on their head on the dark web. The episode features guest appearances by NCIS’ Gary Cole and Wilmer Valderrama, along with NCIS: Hawai’i’s Vanessa Lachey and Yasmine Al-Bustami.
