Although specific details about the plot remain under wraps, an official press release reveals that NCIS: Origins will be set in 1991, with Gibbs as a new special agent at the NCIS Camp Pendleton office. The series will follow Gibbs as he strives to prove himself in his early career. Sean Harmon expressed his excitement about bringing his father’s iconic role to life in a new way, emphasizing the significance of the character of Gibbs in his life.
