CBS has confirmed the premiere dates for the upcoming seasons of its acclaimed crime dramas from the NCIS and FBI franchises.
According to Variety, following the NFL Super Bowl on Sunday, February 11, 2024, the highly-anticipated 21st season of NCIS will return on February 12 at 9pm (ET). Subsequently, NCIS: Hawai’i will kick off its third season an hour later at 10pm on the same night.
FBI enthusiasts will also have much to look forward to, with a trio of spinoffs premiering back-to-back on February 13. FBI’s sixth season, FBI: International’s third season, and FBI: Most Wanted’s fifth season will start at 8pm (ET).
The scheduling reshuffle by CBS was a result of the concluded SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, causing adjustments to their programming.
The extensive NCIS franchise includes four spinoffs centered on the Naval Crime Investigation Service across various locales, including the latest addition, NCIS: Sydney, which debuted in 2023.
NCIS: Hawai’i features Vanessa Lachey as Special Agent in Charge Jane Tennant and Alex Tarrant as Kai Holman. FBI stars Missy Peregrym as FBI Special Agent Maggie Bell, leading an ensemble cast that includes Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, Connie Nielsen, and more.
In addition to the crime dramas, CBS confirmed the return of reality series Survivor and The Amazing Race. Survivor will premiere on February 28 with a two-hour episode followed by another two-hour episode on March 6 before resuming to 90-minute episodes on March 13. Meanwhile, The Amazing Race will return on the same day at 9:30pm (ET).
Fans can also anticipate the return of the popular spinoff Young Sheldon, which will launch its seventh series on February 15.
